Funeral Services for Pauline Stringer, 91, of Florien, were held on January 17 at First Baptist Church of Florien with the Reverends Kenneth Leach, Sr. and Jeff Hutchins officiating. Burial followed in the Florien Cemetery. Pauline was born on Friday, February 13, 1925 in Sabine Parish. She passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Sabine Medical Center in Many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Epsie Mothershed Arthur; husband, Rudolph Stringer; daughters, Helen Craft and Shirley Barnhill; five brothers; and four sisters. She is survived by her son, James Stringer and wife, Cristina, of Florien; daughter, Patricia A. Stringer of Florien; son-in-law, Van Barnhill of Florien; grandchildren, Jody Squillini and wife, Pamela, of Florien, Paul Squillini and wife, Tracy, of Spring Branch, Texas, JaNella Rubar and husband, Edward, of Florien, Sheilah Melton and husband, Richard, of Grand Cane, Jana Phillips and husband, Scotty, of Florien, Mary Kay Hutchins and husband, Jeff, of Palatka, Florida, Vanessa Barnhill of Florien, Jeanie Calhoun of Florien, Michael Barnhill of Houston, Texas and Angela Rolph of Florien, 18 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Matthew Sharp, Kenny Sharp, Dewayne Hopkins, Adam Jeane, Edward Rubar and David Williams Honorary pallbearers were Van Barnhill, Mason Phillips, Damian Almanza, Diego Almanza, Scotty Phillips and Colton Squillini.
