Tigers trounce Wolfpack, war with Eagles
By Daniel Jones
It has been a big two weeks for the mighty Tigers of Many High School, as they solidly beat the West St. Mary Wolfpack 56-0 and entered into an absolute war with the West St. John Rams, ultimately taking them down 44-30 in the LHSAA football quarterfinals to advance to a December 2 game at home against Sterlington. Shannon Sanders was the tale of the game against the West St. John Rams after an injury to Tabarius Garner left him playing seemingly every down. As quarterback, Sanders completed four of eight passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, he had two tackles and several pass defenses. He also served on special teams as punter and kicker. He also saw action on punt and kickoff returns.
