United States Air Force Chaplain Col. William “Bill”Amos Self was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Florien to the union of Lucy Jane (Nee: Self) and Willie D. Self and died on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at Cuba, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.
He spent 30 years as a Chaplain, pastored in Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri and worked for the Pattonville School District while in St. Louis, Mo., before retiring in 1989 and moving to the Cuba, Mo., area, where he enjoyed his farm and raising sheep, goats and other animals. He was known for having the greenest pastures in the county.
Mildred Elizabeth Belisle “Millie” Warner, 89, died on Feb. 5, 2012, at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa, in Roosevelt, Utah.
She was born in Many to John Milton and Alice Wagley Belisle on Jan. 24, 1923.
She excelled in sewing and cooking, sharing her talents with many friends, family and strangers. She also enjoyed gardening, and took great pride in her lawn and flowers. Millie loved music and played the clarinet in high school and college marching bands.
Ronald Felix St. Germain, 75, of Zwolle died on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Napleonville on Aug. 25, 1936.
He was retired from the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Elizabeth Alleman St. Germain.
He is survived by his wife Sondra “Jody” Turner St. Germain of Zwolle; sister, Shirley Boudreaux and husband, Pat, of Napoleonville; and a host of friends.

A memorial service honoring the life of Eva Miers Baldi, 44 of Coushatta and formerly of Negreet was held on Friday, Feb. 3 in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Leach officiated.
Eva was born on June 8, 1967, in Lafayette. She died on Jan. 31, 2012, in Ajax.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bruce Miers; paternal grandfather, Homer. F. Miers; paternal grandmother, Irene Cupit; and maternal grandmother, Jane Maggard.
Services honoring the life of Glades Raimond, 99, were held Monday, Jan. 23 at the Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church in Converse. Officiating the service was the Rev. Jimmy Price. He was assisted by the Rev. Ronnie Sandifer. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Glades Era Raimond was born on July 23, 1912, in Converse and died on Jan. 21, 2012, in Many.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Raimond; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Chuck Welch; son, Wilson Raimond; grandchildren, Stacy Raimond and Bobby Welch; and three sisters and one brother.
Funeral Services for Rosella Knippers, 55, of DeRidder will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. at Many Church of The Nazarene with Bro. Daniel Lowe and Bro. Kennis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Nazarene Cemetery, Robeline. Visitaiton will begin on Wednesday, February 1 at 5 p.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many.
Rosella Knippers was born on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1956 in Jacksonville, N.C. She died on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Deridder Retirement and Rehabilitation in DeRidder.
Billie Johnson was called to be with his Heavenly Father on Jan. 18, 2012. His loving and devoted wife, Betty, was by his side when he left, along with his beloved pet Shelby.
After a lengthy illness, he greatly anticipated that call to come home.
He died at the Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. He was born June 19, 1931, in Pitkin to Will and Odeliah Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Betty Johnson. They were married for 42 wonderful years, having renewed their wedding vows on their 40th anniversary.
Funeral services for Thomas Edwin Isgitt will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with the Revs. Howard Pennington and Jim Manning officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Robeline. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. - 9:p.m. on Jan. 27 at the funeral home.
Funeral services for infant Tucker David Procell, 20-days-old, will be held on Friday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m ay the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Fr. Ken Williams and Fr. Tim Hurd. Interment will follow in the St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery in Noble. Visitation will be held from 4-10p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012 and from 8:00a.m. until time of service on Friday, January 27, 2012.
Tucker was born on Jan. 4, 2012, in Shreveport. He died on Jan. 24, 2012, in Many.
Leatha Leone Rivers, born April 28, 1917, in Ebarb. She died on Jan. 24, 2012, in Zwolle. A funeral mass was held on Friday, Jan. 27 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Leatha was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy S. Ebarb and Pat Leone; husband, Jacob Lee Roy Rivers; infant son, Steve Rivers; brother, Jack Garcie; paternal grandparents, Eli and Mary Ann (Young) Leone; and maternal grandparents, Jose Esequio and Rebecca (Ferguson) Sepulvado.
