"Green" cars not the solution, according to Rowe

Dear Fellow Citizens,

Americans like their automobiles, don’t they? All you have to do to confirm this is get in your automobile and go somewhere.

Automobiles are a part of every American subculture with the exception of the Amish. Cars serve as our main source of mobility and serve purposes that range from hobbies all the way to a means of self expression.

We remind everyone who depends on their automobiles for whatever reason, that the current liberal administration in charge in Washington has intentions to change the automobile culture as we know it.

In 1970, we had the opportunity to travel through several socialist governed countries. We traveled in an automobile we had shipped there. We also remember paying up to $7 for a gallon of gasoline. This will probably occur in America should cap and trade pass.

Remember hearing Obama say “This isn’t going to be easy.”? We have “green cars” now in America and nobody buys them. They’re not much to look at and they are cramped for space. Obama intends to drive gasoline prices up through higher fuel taxes and is going to try to regulate the auto industry into a cramped and ugly green car industry.

If you like and need your automobile and do not want to be stuffed into a match box car paying $7 for a gallon of gas, we seriously urge you to not take Obama seriously. You can have a big impact on this potentially life-changing program if you decide to vote right beginning with the 2010 mid-term elections.
