UPDATE: Hwy. 474 reopened
(UPDATE: As of Jan. 30, DOTD is reporting the road has reopened)
The LA DOTD advises that beginning today, Thursday, January 26, 2012 and lasting until further notice, LA 474, Sabine Parish between US 171 in Florien & US 191, will be closed until further notice. The reason for this closure is to remove a leaning pine tree over LA 474 that has the potential of falling into the roadway.
Permit/Detour section
The detour route will be from LA 474 in Florien via North US 171; West LA 6; South on LA 476; South on 191 to LA 474.

The current lake level for Toledo Bend reservoir is 165.60 The top of the power pool is 172 ft.msl and bottom of the power pool is 168 ft. msl.
