Student Health Day scheduled

To get students excited about health this year, Sabine Parish School District is holding a variety of activities to promote physical and mental health and well-being.

Each school in Sabine Parish is holding a “Health Day” during the first three weeks in September. Many Elementary, Zwolle schools, Florien and Many Junior High will have kick-off on Wednesday, Sept. 1. Friday, Sept. 3 will be the kick-off event for Converse and Ebarb schools. Negreet High will have their kick-off on Tuesday, Sept.7 and will hold activities throughout the week. During the third week of September Pleasant Hill High and Many High will have health activities planned.

All schools are encouraging students and faculty to sign a “Health Pledge,” where they will pledge to lead healthier lives by taking simple steps toward a healthier mind and body.
