Free, reduced lunch applications available

The Sabine Parish School Food Service has Free and Reduced lunch Applications in each school cafeteria in the parish for the 2010-11 school year. A new application must be filled out each school year, regardless of whether or not a student has been free or reduced the previous school year.

The lunch forms can be filled out and returned to the Food Service Office or can be turned into the lunchroom at your child’s school. It is only necessary to fill out one application per family or household. If an application is needed, they can be picked up from the manager at the child’s school cafeteria or parents many come by the Food Service Office located at 815 North Capitol (across from the Many Cemetery) - Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.. - 4 p.m. A free application can also be downloaded from the Sabine Parish School Board website at: http://www. sabine.k12.la.us. For more information contact Rose Mary Sullivan, Child Nutrition Supervisor at the Central Food Service Office at 256-9928, ext. 228. Food Service personnel can answer any questions. The sooner lunch applications are filled out and returned, the sooner the application can be processed, and the student can eat on the new free or reduced status for the school year 2010-11.
