Force pool meeting for Zwolle field set

In accordance with Louisiana law, a public hearing will be held on Sept. 28 upon the request of Forest Oil Corp., who seeks to force pool sections of the Zwolle Field for drilling.

At the meeting, the Commissioner of Conservation will hear evidence relative to orders pertaining to sections HA RA SUR and HA RA SUT in the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in Sabine Parish.

Forest Oil seeks to create two single drilling and production units, establish rules and regulations governing the exploration for and production of gas, to force pool and integrate the separately owned tracts and mineral leases in the tracts, and ensure the horizontal portion of the well is cased and cemented.
