Ronda was born Aug. 20, 1959, in Many, passed away Wednesday morning Aug. 18, 2010, at the age of 50. She was living in Fisher at the time. She was baptized by Bro. Percy Tibbitt in 1969 at Friendship Baptist Church.
She loved to laugh and enjoyed a simple life with those she loved. Ronda was a country girl and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with her family and many friends.
She graduated in 1978 from Many High School and shortly afterwards married and began her life’s journey. Two children were born from this union, Joshua Paul Webb and Heather Elaine Webb.
Ronda never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone at any time. She was a beautiful, compassionate person and her children were her life.
In 2006, she became ill and shortly afterward was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a series of surgeries, treatments and long hospital stays, doctors pronounced her cancer free. However, her good news was short lived. After about a year, her disease had returned and could not be controlled.
After four long painful years, the disease finally engulfed her body and she was called to heaven in the early hours at her home with her loved ones at her side. She will be missed as a wife, daughter, sister and friend and should be remembered for her awesome ability to make us all laugh.
Ronda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Zack and Tessie Brumley and T.J. and Wilma Cutrer. She is survived by her husband, Lambert Powell; parents, Ben and Bobbie Cutrer of Zwolle; son, Joshua Paul Webb and wife, Crystal, of Many; and daughter, Heather Elaine Webb Gibson and husband, Thomas, of Anacoco.
She is also survived by two sisters, Robin Cutrer Oliver and husband, David, and Stephanie Joe Cutrer, both of Zwolle. Also left to cherish her memories are her four grandchildren, Kailie, Justin and Hannah Webb and Annette Gibson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was laid to rest on her father’s birthday, Aug. 19, 2010, at 10 a.m., one day before her 51st birthday. Officiating at the graveside service was Bro. Tim Leach at Prospect Cemetery in Florien.
