Eldridge Cleaver

Dear Fellow Citizens,
Although up to now it isn’t yet being talked about aloud, but there is definitely a Marxist Communist movement prevalent in our country again. We thought it time to ask the question “Does anybody out there remember Eldridge Cleaver?” If you do not , we’ll bring you up to date.

During the mid 60s, Eldridge Cleaver was in Marxist philosophy by inmates while serving a 15-year sentence in a California prison. Their theory was through violence, which they hoped would destroy the whole economic and social structure of the U.S.A. so they might enjoy equal rights under an American communist regime. Violence did break out and in 1968 over 100 American cities were burning. The burning backfired when black Americans realized it was their homes that were being banned. There were shoot-outs with police in which one account, leader Eldridge Cleaver was wounded. He later fled to Cuba and on to other communist countries.

After nearly eight years in exile, Eldridge Cleaver asked to return to the U.S. and pay the penalty for his misdeeds. Ironically, he and his wife were no longer atheists nor communists. Those bitter years behind the iron and bamboo curtains had dispelled all the propaganda concerning equality and justice under communism. Cleaver later told the press “I would rather be in jail in America than free any where else.”

He admitted to being wrong and that black Americans are inside the system with the same equal rights as everyone else and that their membership in the U.S. is the supreme blue chip stock and that they should exercise it.

We thought you might enjoy this little update. Interesting, don’t you think?
