Rowe misunderstood

Dear Mr. Gentry,

I write to express to you and your Index subscribers about a possible misunderstanding as to whom I usually address in my letters to the editor. Therefore, I wish to take this time to clarify myself.

Word has come around that I may have offended an Index reader or two in the past. This is unfortunate as I would not wish to cost you any subscribers nor create any dissention amongst those whom I usually address. Therefore I wish to gracefully inform all who may be concerned that I am very specific as to whom I am addressing, and if one is not a “citizen” or “patriot” of America, then my messages do not apply.

We thought it was time to bring this point up in order to hopefully prevent any further confusion by those who may be assuming otherwise.
