Robert “Bob” Vern Treese, 78, of Florien died on Tuesday, July 27 at Toledo Nursing Center.

He was born on March 1, 1932, in Pickering, Mo.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 29 at the Warren Meadows Chapel in Many with Bro. Ray Leidig officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. on July 28 at the funeral home.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice Treese of Florien; seven children, Sherri Jo Roberts of Picayune, Miss.; Margaret Nixon of Florien, Debbie Perser of Florien, Rita Lewing of Many, Reba Lane of Many, and Robert Treese of Florien; stepdaughter, Wanda Rhodes; two sisters, Madge Yarkovich of St. Joe, Mo., and Louise Miller of Savannah, Mo.; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason and Joe Lewing, Chris Treese, Andrew and Billy Nixon, Taylor Barajas, Stewart Martin and Brady Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Norton, Jack Kleven, John Spears, Adam and Colby Lehr, and Richard Rhodes.
