Hill celebrates 100 birthday

Leola Hill will be celebrating her 100th birthday on July 29 at 5 p.m at the Sabine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center. She is mother of Jerlean Calhoun of Many. Her daughter-in-law is Margie Calhoun, wife of her late son William Calhoun of Shreveport. She has five grandchildren, Carolyn Brumfield, Shirley Miles, Jerry Cade, all of Many, Darrin Calhoun of Shreveport and Clemmie Wilson of Wichita, Texas. She has 11 great-grandchildren. She was also an usher and faithful member of Morning Star Baptist Church. The birthday party will be hosted by her granddaughter, Carolyn Brumfield. There is an open invitation to the public to attend the birthday celebration.
