Malmay benefit concert slated

The family of Eddie Malmay of Zwolle, along with the help of Pat Procell and numerous friends and family members, have put together a benefit concert featuring various local artists such as, Nick Rayburn; Trent and Trey Procell; Justin Merritt; Big Daddy Ray; Landry and Company; and The Kerry Singletary Band. This concert will be held on Saturday July 31 from 6 p.m. - 1 a.m. at Pat’s Place on Hwy 191 in Zwolle.

On June 30, Malmay had Emergency Surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain which has left him in serious condition and has remained in the Intensive Care Unit at LSUMC until he was recently moved to the Life Care Rehabilitation Center in Shreveport for the remainder of his recovery period.

During this benefit concert, family and friends will also be selling benefit T-shirts as well as barbeque plates, and will also be raffling off numerous items throughout the night. All proceeds from this benefit will go directly to helping Malmay’s family recover from overwhelming medical bills and other needs.
