Friends sweep tournament
Best friends Bobby Read from Stonewall and Clint Sistrunk from Pleasant Hill swept the 2010 American Bass Angler District 48 Championship Bass Tournament held on the Red River at Red River South Marina on June 26-27. Read captured second place and also won big bass. Sistrunk won first place with a weight of over 26 pounds. He also won Angler of the Year by one point over his friend giving him the right to fish the nationals in Tennessee in October.
The current lake level for Toledo Bend reservoir is 164.34 The top of the power pool is 172 ft.msl and bottom of the power pool is 168 ft. msl.
