Effie Faye Conour

Effie Faye Conour, 90, died on Monday, June 27, 2010, at her Many residence.

She was born Oct. 7, 1919, in Many.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Lewing Chapel Congregational methodist Church with the Revs. Donny Paul Lewing, Joe Hendrickson and Deacon LaWayne Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Lewing Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. on June 28 at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Conour; parents, William Bluford Lewing and Mary Strickland Lewing; 10 brothers and five sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Leach, Jermoe Hammons, Greg Barber, Rick McConnell, Randy Skidmore and Ronnie Lewing.
