Harvey fundraiser successful

Members of The Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club of Florien gathered at the fundraiser it sponsored in honor of Kelly Harvey.
Kelly Harvey was able to make an appearance at the fundraiser in her honor.

The Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club of Florien sponsored a fundraiser honoring Kelly Harvey of Toledo Bend Lake, on Saturday, June 5. Harvey is Road Captain with the club and was in a motorcycle accident on Monday, April 26, sustaining multiple fractures to her pelvis.

Numerous friends and family took part in helping make the benefit a success. Motorcyclists from The Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club of Shreveport and Pineville and members of the Black Hawks Motorcycle Club were among those gathered to show support for Harvey. The event raised over $3,000.

The fundraiser took place at The Palace with barbeque chicken plates being sold, along with door prizes and 50-50 tickets. The crowd favorite was a silent action where participants eagerly bid on specific items they liked.

The Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club would like to thank everyone who played a part in making this fundraiser such a success.

The current lake level for Toledo Bend reservoir is 164.25 The top of the power pool is 172 ft.msl and bottom of the power pool is 168 ft. msl.
