Mutts strut their stuff

On Saturday, June 19 members of Siloam Baptist Church welcomed “man’s best friend” to Mutt Strut Dog Show. Dogs of all sizes showed up to compete in the personality and tricks categories. During the parade of contestants 13 eager pups and their owners wooed the audience with clever costumes and showmanship. The tricks division brought many laughs as the contestants demonstrated such things as shaking hands, begging, laying down and sitting. Everyone walked away a winner, with each contestant and owner receiving a blue ribbon at the end of the show.

The current lake level for Toledo Bend reservoir is 164.33 The top of the power pool is 172 ft.msl and bottom of the power pool is 168 ft. msl.
