Hello again friends and neighbors. Things sure are heating up outside but we’re keeping cool and having fun here at TRRC. The ladies really got busy on Monday morning. We brought out our beads and made some very pretty necklaces. They all looked so nice you would have thought they were bought from a store. That afternoon we exercised with our stretch bands. We all complain about exercising but understand it’s important. Afterwards we played Bingo.
Tuesday morning the Knot Brothers with First Baptist Church came and sang gospel music for us. They sure sounded great. With it being so hot we got together for some ice cold watermelon. It was sweet and delicious. We plan on having watermelon socials several times a month during the summer.
Wednesday morning we were glad to see the Rev. Steve. He sure can sing a gospel song and deliver such an inspiring word from the gospel. That afternoon we watched a good movie and enjoyed delicious popcorn. The smell of the popcorn always lets everyone know it’s movie time.
Thursday morning we got involved with art and crafts. We made lady bugs and discussed how they use to be in all the gardens. Later we exercised with our stretch bands and had Bingo. Bingo is almost everyone’s favorite activity.
Friday morning we had a great time with ball toss. Later we enjoyed some sweet delicious watermelon. We were just finishing our melon when Beth Wagner came to play music for us. She is very talented and plays a variety of music.
Come by and visit with us, hope to see you soon. Your friends at TRRC.
