Melton Ott

Melton Ott, 72, died on May 11, 2010, in Hobbs, N.M.

Services will be held May 14 at Spring Ridge Baptist Church at 3 p.m.

He was born Dec. 22, 1937, to Tom and Tulsa Miller Ott in Pleasant Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Tulsa Ott; daughter, Nancy Davis; half-brothers, Azell and Marvin Ott; brother, Herbert Ott; and sister, Lilly Gail Youngblood.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elsie Ott; daughters, Paula Childress of Converse, Christy Baker, Sherie Hamilton, Karen Armendarez, all of Eunice, N.M.; half-sister, Suzanne Hunt of Eunice, N.M.; brothers, Thomas J. Ott, Robert Ott, and Frank Ott; two step-sons three step-daughters, 13 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
