Hello friends and neighbors,
Another week has passed by. The old saying “time flies when you’re having fun” might be right. Monday we started our week with art and crafts. We are trying to get finished with our trinket boxes. That afternoon we did exercises with our stretch bands. We need to keep our arm strength up. After that we got to play our favorite game: Bingo.

On Tuesday morning we took pictures to put in the picture frames we are making. At noon we held a luncheon to honor all our volunteers. We want to take time to thank each of our volunteers for everything they do. We can’t express how much it means to us and the benefit to our residents. Later that afternoon we had some great music from C.J. Michaels. He was great as always.

Wednesday morning we held our resident council meeting. We discussed some plans for future activities. That afternoon we pulled out our paint and painted pictures. We have some talented artists. You really need to stop by and see their work.

We started Thursday out by sewing. We make pillows and stuffed animals. The residents enjoy discussing how they used to sew. That afternoon we enjoyed our usual exercise and Bingo.

Friday morning we had a mixture of activities. There was word search, puzzles, art and dominoes with Cajun music playing on the stereo. That afternoon we enjoyed a delicious root beer float social. They sure were good and some of us had seconds.
