Principles

Dear Fellow Patriots,
In casually observing the country and the condition it is in today, and reflecting back to what we believe were better times, we find one outstanding subtle difference in our academic institutions.

That subtle difference is the belief our founding fathers had in religious principle and how important it was to teach this principle and how important it was to teach this principle to the youth of the land.

They believed in five fundamental points every religion teaches, and applied these principals within the curriculum of every school. Those principals are:

- There exists a creator who made all things, and mankind should recognize and worship him.
- The creator has revealed a moral code of behavior for happy living which distinguishes right form wrong.
- The creator holds mankind responsible for the way they treat each other.
- All mankind live beyond this life.
- In the next life mankind are judged for their conduct in this one.

Thomas Jefferson called these basic beliefs “the principals in which God has united all of us.”

We see today, an America that is divided down the middle, which reflects little in the area of unity. In observing those fundamental principals and what they stand for and in what they could do if everyone political party were to start implementing them, we wonder if things might be a little different in our country today.

In speculating on a recovery standpoint starting place for America, this just may be an idea worthy of consideration.
