Dear Editor,
All tobacco smoke that is emitted into the atmosphere is an environmental issue. Tobacco smoke can cause cancers of the mouth and throat if the smoker doesn’t inhale the toxic tobacco smoke.
Inhaling tobacco smoke is a major cause of cancer of the lungs, larynx, throat and esophagus which contributes to the development of cancers of the bladder, pancreas, liver, kidney, stomach and colon.
Let us re-evaluate ourselves while we are living. What is more important that our good health or the breathing of unwanted toxic human-made tobacco smoke in all casinos, bars, dance halls and hospital property.
Call your senator and representative to eliminate toxic tobacco smoking in all unwanted places.
We must continue to improve the conditions in the Louisiana Tobacco Smoke Free Act.
