A benefit singing for Dawson Lowe will be held on March 20 at the Florien High School Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.
The benefit concert will feature area favorites The Southern Plainsmen and OneAccord, in addition to Lee Eddie and the Bayou Bluegrass Boys. Alford Heights Baptist Church’s “No Strings Attached” puppet ministry will also perform. Bro Wayne Chance and Dean Crittenden will serve as Masters of Ceremony.
The nine-year-old son of Annette and Curtis Lowe, who made a profession has been diagnosed with brain cancer and is currently undergoing his second series of IV chemo treatment at Dallas Children’s Hospital.
Donations will be accepted at the door, and concessions will be provided, in addition to a cake sale auction. All proceeds will benefit Lowe’s family.
