Fort Jesup State Historic Site to host Settler’s Day

Settler’s Day at Fort Jesup State Historic Site will be held Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This is a spring market day at Fort Jesup where there will be demonstrations of several period crafts and activities by both local community members as well as park interpreters. The program will allow guests the chance to observe and participate in period crafts such as wood working, spinning, open hearth cooking, crocheting, early military talks and demonstrations, as well as much more.
