Full Moon stroll set

Did you know that Native Americans had a name for each full moon? Call it the Fish Moon or the Sleepy Moon or a Windy Moon, on Tuesday March 30, the moon will be bright and full and Hodges Gardens State Park will extend its hours to allow visitors the opportunity to stroll the main gardens by the light of the full moon. The gardens will stay open until midnight this day. Normally the gardens close at sunset, but throughout this year, hours will be extended on the nights of the full moon, weather permitting.

Please bring your own flashlight and stroll through the gardens at your leisure. For more information, contact the park at 800-354-3523 or locally at 318-586-3523.
