Tiemann family thanks locals for assistance

Dear Editor,

In a day when it’s the norm to look out for one’s own interests, it’s refreshing to see when others come along and go the extra mile for strangers in need. Such was the case when the employees at the Court House, Warren Meadows Funeral Home and Russell Busby, attorney with Ronald Brandon’s Laww Offices, recently came to the aid of two visitors to Many.

On Jan. 7 my husband and I had the unfortunate responsibility of having to travel to Many for a quick trip to take care of the estate of my recently deceased brother. We didnt’ have a clue where we were or what we needed to accomplish, but with the generous help of those mentioned above, we were able to accomplish in 24 hours what could reasonably take weeks or months to accomplish.

Russell Busby saw a clear picture of our need and assisted in a way that was unbelievable. We will be forever grateful to this young attorney for his calm and compassionate assistance during one of the most difficult times in our lives. A heartfelt thanks goes out to every person who helped us.

Sincerely, Scott and Marla Hatchel (Family of Mark Tiemann)
Plainfield, Ind.
